Remember that feeling of complete exhaustion after swimming all day as a little kid? You'd swim the length of the pool, while racing against friends, competitions off the diving board meant climbing in and out of the pool a riiculous amount of times, and it was the ultimate goal to be the swimmer that could hold their breathe the longest under water.
Past age 16, you aren't caught dead trying to achieve the perfect underwater hand stand. You moreso focus your efforts on the perfect tan and social time outside of the water.
Yesterday, my best friend made her way to Tyler and when she said, "do you want to actually get inside the pool?" I was all in.
It only took an hour of pool time before both Mae and I were passed out in our sun chairs, just like little kids... and it was amazing.
